+Abdul-Aziz Al-Oraij i feel like the whole windows 10 continuum idea, or
the ubuntu phone idea will take off some day, and u’ll just come home and
dock ur phone as a desktop pc, unless ur really wanting some hardcore
gaming, like multi display gaming

I have an idea for a phone that could a. Change its form and molecular
structure and b. Have an amazing battery that may never have to be charged
or charged very rarely. I dont know if it would work and dont know what to
do with the idea.

+Gavriel Cohen Why does everyone have to be so negative about what you
think? Couldn’t they just let it go? I mean, why is there so much negative
people on this thread? People don’t have to reply so hatefully to your
comment. They are the dumb ones.

that’s possible but impossible at the same time to get desktop phones.
because they use ARM cpu’s witch are made for simpler tasks. ARM does not
have access to the x86 architecture that Intel and AMD does witch makes it
possible to run well. here’s an example. the top snapdragon 810 CPU would
be the equivalent of a Pentium 4 x86 CPU. so smartphones have a long way to
go before that’s possible

+CyberLion Windows phone 10 does exactly what he explains in this video as
the next step. And it does it very well, and is super powerful. ARM is not
that weak, and they have the Snapdragon 820 coming out in phones. Hell, the
iPhone 4 played the id Rage game on it just fine, which is impressive. We
are no far away at all.

I have always like your style and format and your forward looking
inspirational attitude however it seemed to me you put way to much faith
and trust in corporations when history and their actions have told you that
you shouldn’t put so much faith in them. Then you mentioned
groups/companies suppressing battery technology and even though you made no
claims of it and other suppression’s happening it made it clear that you at
least have your mind a bit more open to the reality we live in. Which is a
capitalistic world in which it has many benefits but at it’s very core is
purely greed driven so if the oil companies see electric cars starting to
take off will do everything they can to stop them, or if electronic
manufacturers see their products lasting to long will build in either
software that simply stops the device from working or just use very crappy
parts that will on average brake after a certain amount of time, etc etc.

I can go on with other dishonest and sometimes down right evil things
corporations do in pursuit of the all mighty dollar however my point was
simply that one little mention of suppression made me think you are more
awake then I previously had thought.

+Captain Capitalism I am neither a capitalist, communist or socialist. I
will admit I do not know what type of system would work however I do know
the one we have now doesn’t work for the majority of the people on this
planet and if that’s not reason enough to look for other options the idk
what is.

I’m still not clear what GHz are. 60 giga hertz? 256 graphics cores? What
are those? And the Nvidia phone also has 8 processing cores. What function
does 8 cores do?

bcuz while the mobile chips just broke 1 Teraflops, the laptop/desktop GPUs
are at over 6 Teraflops. The latest from Nvidia 1080 GPU, they are at 9
TeraFlops.

You would have been learning the best technique on how make stronger bricks
to built your house, making more resistant wheels for your carriage,
sharper blades and so forth. And still brag about how cool you are for
mastering it. Hundreds of years from now, they will be mocking us for
having gas motorized cars, airplanes and cell phones…
