At TechRadar we check out every phone under the sun, putting the ones that matter through our rigorously vigorous testing process to create our in depth mobile phone reviews.

However, with so many to choose from, we've spent hours whittling them down to a top ten, taking into account the power, specs, design and most importantly: value for money, although we'll always point you in the direction of the latest handsets.

After all, nobody wants to be carting around a phone that won't be getting any updates in a year's time, right?

Karan Verma The exynos model shouldn’t lag either. It should actually be faster. So in other countries if it lags then it’s a knockoff.

Yudha Duarsa You can’t buy the Note 7 anymore. If you have a Note 7 Samsung pushed an update to brick it. You my friend are an idiot.????

Nipun Sharma yes. i have the simple s7 but I’ve noticed fps drops in especially subway surfers, colour switch and gta san andreas. its been happening since 3 weeks idk why

Umair Yousaf It was a problem in the earliest units just after launch. I hoped they would’ve fixed it in an update but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I had to return it because of this very reason.

I really don’t get it. Some reports say Pixel Xl has a great battery life (~ 5h SoT) and some are calling it mediocre, So what is it now ?

Well, exactly ! What he says is that it has a great battery life, isn’t he ? It’s confusing, I’m trying to understand figure out this one spec (which requires long therm use of the device) of the XL and it keeps getting confusing.. 🙂

Samer El Chami - posted on January 13, 2017 7:52 am

Haik0 Yes exactly, you can ask him on Twitter if the battery life is still holding off well. Most people claim it’s wonderful. 🙂

Haik0 I’ve got a Pixel XL……. battery life is best I’ve had on a smartphone. that’s coming from the note 7 previously.

+Tony MTA The Mate 9 is not in my country yet. I bought the P9 and it’s pretty neat. The only thing I can complain about is the audio quality and well, the camera is awesome (colors not MP), but in low light it’s not that good.

Teemu Salo The XZ should have at least made the list. It’s a great device and the upcoming XZ Premium looks very impressive especially with it’s 960 FPS camera.

what is beret op3t or LG g5 ?

Reply
Edevard - posted on January 29, 2017 11:26 am

G5, better screen and a fun wide angle camera, along with micro sd storage and removable battery(you can use it without ever having to plug it in the charger!). The 3t is a solid, great smartphone but hardly anything innovative about it, a safe bet but somewhat dull experience.

Good video Techradar ???? I just think iPhone 7 plus is the best for 2016 and Galaxy s7 & s7 edge shouldn’t have been at the 1 st place but 5 and 6 above all because they are too old and for not having usb type c… For my case I’m proud of owning the HTC 10 ???? and maybe you should have integrated in your list the Mate 9, Honor 8 and Xiaomi Mi5 and Note 2… as chinese smartphones are the new winners of the end of 2016 and early 2017 ????
