girlsdrinkfeck the edge is actually a 3d glass witch fool your visual
thinking it was edgeless. (it has actually). this one is true bezelless for
not ‘deceiving your eyes’. and still s7edge and mimix screen to body ratio
is different, xiaomi still win over the bezelless title. lol

ricky stewart Because it is a concept device, apparently the ceramic build
takes a long time to make and is not suitable for mass production. Plus,
the technology behind having almost no bezels (apparently they have
developed software to prevent accidental touches) is probably not mature
yet. The real World reviews will be interesting.

I think Xiaomi should release a 5.7″ which is about a sweet spot for
smartphone. Then market it globally.
128Gb”is great (No SD req)
6Gb RAM wow
Dual Sim would be nice
Dual speakers
Audio enhancement B&O
I would definitely buy…

Nope. I own a Note 3 and recently returned Note7.
If it’s 6″ it’s a little big to fit in pocket. The point I am making is
keep 5.7″, reduce top and bottom bezel and the phone will fit perfectly.
You could probably go 5.8″ and still maintain a smaller form factor.
I now wait till Spring / Summer 2017 for Note 8.

people what Xiaomi is capable of. every phone is a loss of profit but it
will be more than made up for the other phones they make and all the added
customers it will bring in. kind of what Sony and Microsoft do to their
cheap cosole prices which operate at 200-300 loss from the start but make
up for it in the games they sell to you.

+Mztr.Dros Enterainment But isn’t most of the cost of a new hi tech product
taken up by R&D, so the more you sell the quicker you cover that cost?
However, I can see merit in your posting. I suppose the less raw materials

+Mztr.Dros Enterainment Making their own materials, from their own
factories? Do you know what, I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head
there. The economies of scale which Chinese hi tech companies have, in
sourcing so much of their production from raw materials to finished
product, literally didn’t even occur to me. That explains how such a
business model can work. Cheers for the heads up, mate! Maybe I’m a bit
anal, but it was driving me nuts trying to think how they could maintain
such a business model for this niche product. Now I know!
